Here are some common questions we receive before booking, to help you feel more at ease before your stay.

Is this a private full-property stay for one group?

Yes. Paw Pow Zone is available only as a private whole-property stay, welcoming one group per day.

What is the maximum occupancy?

Up to 8 guests can stay across three sleeping spaces: a twin room, a triple western-style room, and a tatami room.

Is it convenient to reach the ski resorts?

Hakuba Goryu is about 5 minutes away by car, with easy access to Hakuba 47 and Happo-One as well.

Can extra beds be added?

Due to the room layout, extra beds cannot be added inside the bedrooms. However, the open space includes a sofa bed and can accommodate up to two additional guests. An additional fee applies for extra guests.

Is parking available?

Yes. Paw Pow provides free parking for guests, with space for up to four passenger vehicles.

Do you offer ski lessons?

Paw Pow partners with several local ski schools in Hakuba. If you're interested in lessons, feel free to contact us.

Do you provide free Wi-Fi?

Yes. Paw Pow provides high-speed Starlink internet, suitable for remote work and longer stays.

Is there a drying space for ski gear?

Yes. Paw Pow has a dedicated drying room for skis, snowboards, boots, jackets, and other snow gear. A simple tuning rack is also available for equipment adjustments.

Can we cook during our stay?

Of course. Paw Pow provides a fully equipped kitchen, so you can enjoy your stay as if it were your second home.

Is Paw Pow Zone open during summer too?

Yes. Beyond winter, Hakuba in summer is also perfect for slowing down and enjoying a different pace of life. Hiking, cycling, cafés, local events, and seasonal activities offer another side of Hakuba to explore. Follow Paw Pow Zone on Instagram to see life in Hakuba throughout all four seasons.

Is it suitable for families?

Yes. Paw Pow offers a tatami room and open shared spaces, making it comfortable for both families and groups. It's also a great space for children to play and relax.

Are there convenience stores nearby?

Yes. Supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants are all within a short drive.

Can I bring my pet?

We're sorry, but pets are currently not permitted at Paw Pow Zone. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we are not accepting pets at this time. If we decide to welcome pets in the future, updates will be announced on our website and Instagram. Feel free to follow us for the latest news.

Are seasonings provided in the kitchen?

Yes. The kitchen is stocked with basic seasonings, making it easy to prepare simple meals during your stay. If you have specific preferences, we recommend bringing your own ingredients or seasonings. For a full list of facilities, please refer to the facilities page.

Is accommodation tax included?

Yes. The rates shown on the booking page already include accommodation tax. No additional accommodation tax will be charged during your stay.

Can I ship my ski gear before check-in?

Yes. If you'd like to send ski gear or luggage before your arrival, please let our host know in advance after booking. We'll provide the shipping details and receiving instructions.
